Molly Jeanne is a singer/songwriter, actor, and director from Poughkeepsie, NY. She has written over 200 original songs, which she performs at venues in New York, Connecticut, Ohio, and Tennessee. She has earned recognition from American Songwriter Magazine and the Smoky Mountains Songwriting Festival for her songs. When she was 11, she recorded an album at The Tracking Room in Nashville, Tennessee, entitled Made You Look. She graduated from Vassar College in May 2025, where she studied film and music.
She has performed at Samuel’s Sweet Shop, owned by actors Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Hilarie Burton and Paul Rudd. She won second place at Kara Dioguardi's competition Tri-State Rocks and has continued to work with her organization, Inspired Nation. In Tennessee, she has performed at Antique Archaeology (RIP), The Loveless Café, The Station Inn, and the Smoky Mountain Songwriters Festival. She has shared the stage with country, bluegrass, and folk music greats such as Bill Anderson, Carl Jackson, Larry Cordle, Jerry Salley, Bobby Tomberlin, Don Henry, and Tom Paxton. She plays the guitar, piano, bell lyre, ukulele, banjolele, mandolin, charango, and mountain dulcimer. She has also voiced multiple characters in the Magic Tree House Musical series for MTI Shows. She has performed in several musicals at the Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck and has directed five theatrical productions during her time at Vassar College, most recently a production of Something Rotten.
